Care & Maintenance

Like anything else, a little bit of time will go a long way. The same with your covers! Clean them once a month or when needed with a soft brush, warm water and mild soap. Do not use detergent and rinse thoroughly to remove soap and allow to air dry before storing them away. The fabric can be cleaned without being removed from the installation.

If excess rubbing is required, this may cause some water repellency to be removed and the fabric should receive an application of water repellent treatment.

We suggest the following:
For Sunbrella®, use 303 Hi Tech Fabric Guard, and for SeaMark use Bimini Topp Marine Protectant and follow cleaning instructions on bottle. Only use Marine products on your covers and vinyl products, as they use a UV Protectant that automotive cleaners do not.

When storing your cover, place in a dry ventilated area. Never store covers wet, and always roll windows. Mildew grows in dirty damp environment. Stop it before it starts!
